Workplace Based Learning
On-the-job training allows you to study in your workplace rather than in a traditional classroom environment. It involves an agreement between you and your employer for the training to take place and requires you to take regular time out from your normal duties at work in order to meet the study requirements of your course.
On-the-job training allows you gain formal recognition of skills you already possess and to develop new skills that directly relate to your current role. This means greater relevance, understanding and benefits to you.
